Lorne Fromer B.Ed., M.F.A., is a photographer, educator, art publisher and curator. After studying Photography at Ryerson Politechnical Institute (now Toronto Meropolitan University) he received a Masters degree in Fine Arts from Concordia University. A participant in numerous Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festivals, he has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Canada and the USA. His work is represented in the permanent collections of The National Gallery of Canada, the City of Toronto Archives, Canada Council’s ART BANK and numerous private collectors. He was co-editor of IMPRESSIONS magazine and his critical writings have been published in arts and photo magazines including TPW Views, Impulse and Photo Communique.
